Independence
PocketAnthem is an independent app by Vincent Gourbin. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by the authors of the YuE2 model (Multimodal Art Projection) or by Apple. The model runs entirely on your device; nothing you write or generate leaves it.
The model licence
The YuE2 weights are licensed under CC BY-NC 4.0 with an individual creator permission (16 September 2026). Personal users, content creators and musicians acting in an individual capacity may generate songs and publish, distribute, sell or otherwise monetize them, with no fee or royalty owed to the model authors. Companies wishing to use the weights commercially must obtain a commercial licence from the YuE2 authors. Academic use is free for non-commercial research and education. Crediting YuE2 (#YuE2) when sharing is encouraged but optional.
Responsible use
The permission is conditional on responsible use: no illegal, harmful, deceptive or unethical use, including fraud, harassment or impersonation. You are responsible for your inputs, your outputs and any rights or consent they require, including for lyrics you paste.
No warranty, no liability
The app and the model are provided as is, without warranty of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer of PocketAnthem accepts no liability for the use made of the app or of its outputs. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
AI-generated content
Every song, score and cover produced in the app is generated by artificial intelligence. Exported files carry a machine-readable marker saying so (WAV metadata, PDF document info, PNG text). When you share them, say they were made with AI where the audience or the law expects it (EU AI Act, article 50).
Apple Intelligence
Song proposals and cover art use Apple’s on-device models when Apple Intelligence is available. Apple’s own terms apply to those features.
